Hey Cyril, you’re right, we should be using all means possible and papers are good – the Lambeth Council paper is actually one of the best (I promise I’m not totally council biased, I just like the format and writing). I guess it’s always going to be hard to get young teenagers to care about local issues, but while I’m no whipper snapper at 27, I still think I’m relatively young and I definitely care! )

I tend to agree with the article quoting: “For the older generation, these things matter. [...] But the younger generation don’t much care.”
But when you want to let people know about something nowadays, you have not only to think about web/twitter or local newspaper/leaflets… but to both at the same time to spread the words.

The newspapers in our area are pretty bad I have to agree. Then most local papers are. The stories in them I never really want to read about and they’re full of terrible adverts. I don’t know why businesses don’t just use sites like this more. This is where people in the area come to for info.
