Boots on Clapham High Street opens Wednesday

OK, I admit it, in the grand scheme of things this is hardly news. But in the world of Clapham High Street this is a front page headline! The Boots pharmacy store on Clapham High Street opens next Wednesday, 3rd June at 8.30am. That’s correct early birds, you can even pop in for a nose around before work if you’re that interested. Boots has obviously done its research and has stuck a massive “BEAUTY” label above the doorway to attract Clappers who like to look their best around the streets of Clapham. Clapham Picture House: Drag Me To Hell

Exciting week in film land Clappers, we have a new horror film called Drag Me To Hell from Sam Raimi of Xena: Warrior Princes, Evil Dead and Spiderman director fame. The trailer features an evil old woman with staples in her head and it’s had great reviews. What more could you ask for?! The Pavement is a funky little cafe tucked on the corner between Clapham Common tube station and Clapham Old Town. It overlooks Clapham Common and the Holy Trinity church. Food is great, reasonably priced and served with a smile.

Ben & Jerry’s Sundae on Clapham Common festival

The best tasting festival in London is coming back to Clapham Common! Ben & Jerry’s Sundae on the Common festival will be gracing Clapham Common on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th of July. No acts or attractions have been announced yet, you can’t even buy tickets, so there’s not much to say other than to pop it into your diary. You can be guaranteed of free icecream however.
