To celebrate the opening of the film adaptation of Where the Wild Things Are at the Clapham Picture House, the cinema has given us some fantastic prizes to give away. You know that swanky new wood and brick building opposite the Windmill Pub on Clapham Common? Well that, dear reader, is the newly built Clapham part of Lambeth College to house the sixth formers in September. Colleges have come a long way since our day and all the better for it, it’s a fantastic modern building and very in keeping with the tone of modern Clapham. Well, well, well. Another bank holiday weekend has snuck up on Love Clapham and we couldn’t be happier. Thanks to Mother Nature (via the BBC) it looks like Monday’s out weather wise, but we like the look of a sunny Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It’s Clapham Common time!
