Love Clapham website is the local guide for residents and visitors of the Clapham area, London. This includes Clapham Common, Clapham North, Clapham South, Clapham Old Town, Clapham Junction and the surrounding areas of Battersea, Balham, Stockwell, Vauxhall and more.

Less than 24 hours to go!

With less than 24 hours to go until Kate and Wills finally tie the knot (and we get a day off work – yay!) Camp Royale on Clapham Common is in full ceremonial swing and the ‘big Royal sleepover’ is about to commence! If you’re in for the long haul in a tent then be sure to pack wellies and something warm as weather is set to be … ‘varied’.

However if camping isn’t your ‘thing’ then why not venture a little further a field to Battersea High Street where you’ll be able to join in on a traditional British Street Party – with music, dancing, food and drink, games and coverage from 10am.  There’s plenty to keep families happy at the party, with street stalls, donkey rides and all manner of live entertainment for kids. Shops and restaurants along Battersea High Street will remain open throughout the day and good news … its free entrance!

But whatever you’re doing tomorrow have fun, enjoy and raise a glass (or bottle) to the happy couple! Hurrah!
