Lovely atmosphere, but too expensive compared to other quality shops of its kind in the area – even if it is Jamie Oliver. Great quality is undeniable though.

Interesting to put it in perspective with what David Rosemont (acting as a consultant on behalf of the developers of a new hotel in Clapham Junction) said recently:
“The retailers who remain on Lavender Hill struggle”.
Shall we just point out that Woolworths (which got bankrupt nationally) was immediately replaced by Waitrose with a vibrant success. And now we have Jamie Oliver coming… so much attention for what some would like to see as a deprived area
