I know it's not quite Clapham, but:
The 13th Streatham Common Kite Day will be on Sunday 10 April 2011.
We will be starting at 11:00am and going on all day until 5:00pm.
Kite displays will featue:
Food and drink will include:
There will also be a kite making workshop for children at Crown Lane Primary School & Children's Centre from 1pm to 3pm on Saturday 9th April.
The 13th Streatham Common Kite Day will be on Sunday 10 April 2011.
We will be starting at 11:00am and going on all day until 5:00pm.
Kite displays will featue:
- Sky Symphony
- The Robertshaws and Chris Goff - part of the current world champion kite team - the Scratch Bunnies
- Andrew Beattie and his large (very large) display kites
- Kent Kite Flyers
- Brighton Kite Flyers
- Altitude Sprint
- Rok fight
- Kite making
Food and drink will include:
- Hogroast
- Pancakes
- The Chilli Bar
- Beer stall
- and more...
There will also be a kite making workshop for children at Crown Lane Primary School & Children's Centre from 1pm to 3pm on Saturday 9th April.
